Alba Webinar Recording:

Verifiable Credentials and the GBI

DISCUSSION OVERVIEW

With more than $150B in additional funding now being made available through the bill that was recently passed by Congress, significantly more resources will focus on regulatory enforcement, country of origin authentication, and forced labor investigations.

Validating the facts around your products and their origins, your supply chain, and your partners is becoming imperative in both maintaining supply chain security and validating tariff access.  Our webinar highlighted some of the changes in place now as well as those that are on their way, and included what you can do to prepare your organization.  We touched on:

  • Why authenticating Country of Origin is so important
  • CBP's increased focus on regulatory enforcement, especially around forced labor
  • The importance of supply chain mapping and what to look for in solutions
  • Introducing Verifiable Credentials and their role in the Global Business Identifier program and in supporting regulatory compliance, building trust, risk management and more

We also answered audience questions on these topics and more.
